Faeries can use as much magic as they can as long as they aren’t fatigued, exhausted, or hungry.
Their magic is much stronger the closer they are to forestry or even nature in general than if they are in a metropolitan area.
Faeries have elemental magic that is passed down through their blood. Some are more attuned to certain elements than others and their element is stronger depending on the time and place they are in.

Faeries have true names. If you know a faerie’s true name, you can control them. A true name is a part of a faerie’s soul.
Faeries cannot lie.
Faeries can twist the truth, meaning they could be saying more than what they let on. Concentrate on their wording, not their tone.
Sugar, specifically fruit, can cause a faerie to become drunk. Alcohol does not have this effect on them.
Most faeries with little to no human reaction take things literally. They are very literal. They have trouble with human metaphors, sarcasm, and figures of speech. This does not mean they cannot learn it, but especially when it comes to deals they are literalists. Seelie Courts are more likely to know more of human figures of speech.

You can form a deal with a faerie, creating a bond where both parties must do something for one another. Deals are very literal.
Be careful of the loopholes they may find. Ex: “You can’t cause me injury.” but they could take that as ‘injury’ to mean ‘verbal insult’ instead of ‘bodily harm’ and can bite you.
Faeries can manipulate and twist your words or make you regret what you asked for.
Faeries love to put others into debt.
Faeries don’t see the point of saying “thank you,” instead it is best to say “you are most kind” or “I appreciate your help” as saying “thank you” dilutes their act of kindness.

Faerie fruit is fruit that has been charmed by a faerie, you could tell because the inside of the fruit is golden.
If a human eats faerie fruit they will become entranced.
Faeries take human servants (feed them faerie fruit) and even take human children and replace them with changelings instead.
Four leaf clovers on a person can help to avoid fae glamour.
A crown of daisies protects children from being kidnapped by faeries.
Salt is good for counteracting faerie fruit.
Putting salt on window seals or entrances forbids faeries from entering.
True Sight can be given via kiss or spit on the eyelids.
Iron burns faeries.
Faeries hate the smell of iron.
